what pressure does the fuel for a ef 6 need to be??
as i need to buy an inline fuel pump

A bit of a guess here, around 36psi. (260 kpa) and about 250cc in 10 seconds.

If it's slightly more it 'shouldn't' matter as the pressure regulator should bring it down.

Her are the spec's for an EL, I guess a EF would be the same.

Fuel pressure at idle 225kpa
Fuel pressure engine off 275kpa
fuel system pressure drop allowed 10% in 10 seconds max
Fuel Pump pressure (dead head) 400kpa minimum
