At the moment my car sits at 1900rpm at 100km, just wondering if you guys have the same reading, thought this would be a way of seeing if my car speedo is out. cheers.

Mine sits just under...pretty much around 1800-1850rpm mark. Auto with 3:45:1 LSD

gotta remember guys it depends on gearbox/gear/diff ratio.
Those numbers are right for a auto in D with a 3.08 diff.

What diff ratios does the AU fairlane Ghia have? I think its 3.23:1. My cab sits on 1900 at 100kmh but my lane sits on just over 2000rpm at 100kmh.
My XF sits on around 2300rpm at 100kmh. 3 speed auto and 2.77:1 diff gears. |

Yeah I think 3.23 was the go for Fairmont Ghia's and up.

Should be around 2000rpm dead even, depending on if your torque converter still locks up. Once they get worn they need a bit of right foot coaxing to lock up.
