It's been a while since my EB has been near a dyno, i've now got a fresh engine, only stock cam atm, but intake mods, extractors & a better flowing 2.5" zorst, not to mention the manual conversion. I'd love to find more than 120rwkw, seeing my last run was 112rwkw with auto, no extractors and a slightly tired engine.

I'm puttin out 0.1kws at all four cones... and 0.6kws out of my rear cone... that's exactly 1kw of car stereo power in my baby... add that to my 120rwkw and wallah! I've got a total of 121kw...

Ok, something i dont understand.
Theirs a fair few posts have been made with dyno readings of 130kw+, with the only mods being exhaust and K&N filter when a stock Falcon six pulls around 95-108 at the wheels. Whats happening here.... surely an exhaust isnt gonna give 30 odd kw's? |

The Boss's XF ute got dyno'd today, and was found to be running lean at 5,000 to 6,000 rpm. It put out 165.7 HP at the treads.
This is a pic of it. It hit the rev limiter set at 6,000rpm, has MSD ignition.

I know just doing the air intake mods made a big differance to the way my car pulls and the readings on the dyno improved from 90kw ATW to 112, and then add in the change to manual, ontop the extractors and it's nowhere near as slugish as it was stock when i bought it. It was tuned on the dyno for it's LPGI ecu. I won't ever claim the dyno it was on is accurate, but atleast it's an idea and shows mods i've done have made improvements. I now have a new steering rack in the EB, just gotta sort a couple more little issues out, and i plan on taking it for a burn down the 1/4 at calder to see what it can do. It needs another run on the dyno for tune first tho. Cheers ToranaGuy

Except for comparison between cars one after the other on same dyno. |

I only managed 119rwkw or 161rwhp with extractors, 2.5 drain pipe and K&N air element.
