Gday, I was at tafe today and they dynod a stock Twin Turbo 300ZX and it only made 140rwkw (it was an auto). Which i thought was pretty weak for a TT6. Im just wondering what to expect from my car, after i put the Pacemaker Competion extractors on, mine is also an auto. :wink:

you can probably expect around 110-120ish I believe. Depending if yours is auto or manual. Im sure that 300 will have tons more torque then your car though.

120rwkw?? -how long is a piece of string?

depends on your engines service history..
has the engine been flogged?

most dynno's will vary slightly so guessing wont be too accurate.. let quater times do the talking... :wink:

That was with a conservative dyno. You will also find people who's car has been dynoed and ends up spittin out 120-130rwkw with just exhaust mods which imo is crap, cause they can barely break into the 15's over the quarter.

All depends on the operator, different dynos, air temp, condition of gearbox & diff etc.

My EA S. 270k's on bottom end, brand new head + Wade 1636. All else stock..

What can I expect, roughly.. really less than 100kw?

My EF made 121 with a wade 1004 and a shagged 2 1/4 cat back, the engine was shagged aswell, it was actually still climbing on the dyno but he pulled it back because it started fuming out the exhaust... Didn't want to blow it.

Is there any difference in power with the Normal EL and the Hybrid?

well my car with just a cat back 2.5" exhaust...and K&N filter, on the Drag Tag thing while my car was auto was reading 90ish rwkw...bear in mind, stuffed catalytic converter and hole in my exhaust manifold :D.

Only cause the EL's have a 4.0L engine which is bigger then the 300ZX doesn't mean your car is going to be doing better. A mild cam, with your current exhaust system and maybe a K&N filter may put you up to about 130 - 140rwkw...I think. TT your 4.0L and you'll easily make 200rwkw.

phong =P~
