it would be a waste of time.
why the hell would you want a smaller engine? |

no VLs have about 300kg less wieght in them.
the RB engine just don't have enough torque to make them worth the effort. if you want a turbo engine put a turbo on a falcon I6 those fast vl don't have stock rb25s in them. a good mild RB25 would make just over 200rwkw a falcon engine with the same boost will make at least 240rwkw |

If you think that your gunna come on a Ford website and find Ford Enthusiasts encouraging and telling you to put a Nissan engine into your Ford, your dead wrong. I mean your pretty much gunna get a very biased opinion here to stick with the Ford engine! And there probably right...

yep this is why falcons are getting up to a million k's with without a rebuild, nissan motors are nothin special either they like the falcons are made quite cheap its not exactly a ferrari lol |

man if i had read this befor answering your PM it would have been a different answer. the ford engines are build very well. mine spends most weekends on the fun side 4500RPM and quite often find the rev limmiter. it has 200 000km on it and has no trouble at all. my old mans EB was rebuild by me at 290 000km and showed no wear on the pistons at all and only needed a 2 thou over hone befor putting the old pistons back in. if you still think the're not so good how do you explain all the 200 000km plus engine getting turbo'd with out a rebuild and making over 250rwkw |

what kind of nissian engine u looking at. if u are getting say a new 200sx
front cut that will still set u back a good $10 and u dont get drive line with that. and if ur looking at a older one with a sr20det u would be working the s**t out of the motor where as a big 4lt would do it much easyer. iv seen a few ba xr6t motors for sale for under $6000 would be a way better option. or just go out and buy a 180 or 200 nissian |

If you work on these cars all day, like you say you do then you would know that it wouldnt be worth the time/money to put a nissan engine into a ford. There is all the hassal of getting it in and running and then the engineer cert and s**t. What a waste of time and im not sure (correct me if im wrong) but it wont go much/any harder

you're an even bigger d**k head than i first thought.
now you say you work on them all day and you still can't see any point in modding them. what f**k drugs are you on. i work on RB, SR, falcons, commodores, toyotas and any thing els you can think of. part of my job is doing engine conversions for people that can't di it them selves. and for the last time you are wasting your time putting an RB of any kind into a falcon. they just don't produce the torque of the falcon engine. also RBs don't make all the power you see quoted in mags with stock internals. or if stock internals are used they don't last long. put boost into a falcon engine and you'll have more power then the car was ever designed to handle. |
