I'll need this list of questions answered before I can tell you, with absolute certainty, what time you will run.

1. How much does the driver weigh?
2. What date will you be racing the car?
3. What time, down to the nearest second?
4. What race is the driver?
5. What pressure in the tyres?
6. What brand of tyre?
7. What is the starting officials name?
8. What is the name of the kid with the blower cleaning the starting line?
9. How many HP is the blower?
10. What is your wifes name?
11. Is she hot?
12. Any kids?
13. How big is your house?
14. Mortgage?
15. Where do you work?
16. Your boss a nice guy?
17. KTHXBAI

Thats where I went wrong, I forgot to vector in 10 & 11 on my calculations.

XR6T citric, don't pull out now mate. just go there for hands on & a bit of fun. once you get used to it, then start worrying about times!

Hey,

Come on, give me a time. For a pretty good driver, what should this car run?

If you don't run 9s, sell the car and slit your wrists.

with that sort of power you 'should' get a 12.5...
but in saying that i've seen a car with 255rwkw run a 12.55, and one with 280rwkw run a 14.1...

to many variables to give a definite answer, easiest way to find out, is take it to the track

out of interest, who tuned it for you??

Run it, the only way to prove it, dyno figures are only for bragging rights, your 280RWKW could be 260RWKW on another dyno, the drag strip will prove what you have.

I am not saying that is the case with your RWKW but there is a heap of dyno warriors in here and elsewhere that prove on the strip what they don't have, torque wins races, horsepower (or KW etc) wins pub bragging rights, remember that too.

Stop wasting your time and ours asking a question like "How long is a piece of string?"

You gotta have the right driver for the occasion regardless if its 20 kw less. then again, even the best drivers comes unstuck when the heat is on. its unpredictable really!

Yep, Reaching a terminal speed of 376mph, in just over 12 secs, out the back of a C 130 at 45 000ft.

He might get upset with the fact he won't get a time slip to prove it or be able to drive it back to a airport to do it again.
