I've got a 95 EFII Fairmont wagon and I want to make the exhaust Louder...

I've got a major exhaust leak on the back of the Large Middle muffler so I was looking to remove that and replace it with a Resonator, I then thought about also removing the rear muffler and just having a straight pipe on the back with a twin 2" tip.

How loud do you think this would make it? I don't want it super loud, just a deep rumble at idle and for it to make some noise over 3,500rpm

Or would it be enough to just replace the middle muffler and leave the rear one?

It'll be loud and most likely drony...just my opinion though, no experience.

I recently put extractors and full 3" with redback muffler - no resonator on my 5 litre NF and it sounds great loud but great, the worse droning usually comes from the passengers seat anyway!
