just a qustion, im goin to heathcote next w/e and am running my fairmont, what does everone think it will run. 2 1/2 inch exhuast, high flow cat, nothing special. im hoping to be under 16's

my old ef ghia ran a 15.3 with full exhaust only and a k&n panel..no tune
it was also auto! with 200 000km's on her.. |

Tip: Remove spare wheel, 15-20l RON 98 fuel in the fuel tank, remove any dead weight from car and lower the psi on your back tyres.. Should get somewhere between 16.7-15.3secs. This is as long as your engine and gearbox are smick.

i managed a 15.3 iirc for a manual 'mont with sound system installed - so i dunno - add a second?

i wont be racing if its wet. Im goin with my dad n his mates that all run 10.5-11.3. All the dead weight is goin out of the car. Im goin 2 do a run in eco n powe n with no air filter, so we'll c. If any1 is intested il post up the timeslips next sunday

The filter is a restriction of only 1 inch H2O (0.036psi). It's not worth the dust you'll let in. In fact you'll see more gain by taking a really big s**t (for weight reduction) just before you race. |

Are you going on the Friday night or the Saturday? I'm heading there on the Friday night, have no idea what my car will run, hoping it will be in the 15's, its my first time out so I am definately going to be the limiting factor |

16 flat or just under i would say.
