While I haven't got mine in yet
I have 2 slotted dba front rotors, a set of bendix advance and a set of new front hub bearings and from what i gather should give pretty good bang for buck.. Once i get em in they'll have cost me $280 or something.. should be good ! |

Im not a tight a** im looking for a good quality pad at a low cost i dont want to pay hundreds for a pad that will do the same job as a 80 dollar pad. Dude it's your brakes, you get what you pay for. i spent $320 on my front rotors and then $110 on the pads and then $200 odd on the braided lines just because i want stopping power not i think i might stop in a while power. SPEND the extra bit of cash of the brakes, you'll be happier in the long run.

I have Bendix Advance & DBA slotted rotors and I certainly can't complain about the braking power.
Been using Bendix Advance for about 10 years now.

my discs are shot, so im getting dba slotted alround and bendix advance. do you think this was a good price, $110 per rotor and $80 per pair of pads, 600 all up.
edit- is it worth changing bearings while i am at it, i dont think there is anything wrong with them atm.? |

Pads sound a little dear, I'm sure I only pay around $45 If your looking at saving some money, standard rotors on the rear are fine. Your rear brakes don't do anywhere near the amount of work the front do.
