Well guys.. going by your trip computers if you have them.. whats your average?

atm my ef fairmont is sitting on about 15.9L per 100km after being reset last week(ECU reset to) and this is only city driving so far.

kinda high i thought, i mean its city driving but its not seeing the upperside of 3k either..

thinking a K&N, and some extracters and exhaust might be needed to drop it down a little.

EL Ford Fairmont Ghia V8 last tank of fuel was 11.3L/100km. Both suburb and country driving.
That is on Ulimate 98.
Only city driving gives it an average of about 13.5L/100km.

Over the last month I've averaged 10.9L/100km.
This included 1 country trip and the rest is just driving to and from work in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

9.6l/100k's in the BA today over 380k drive.
prior to that, 15-18l/100k's strictly around town and just after an ecu reset
Gotta say, i really really LOVED cruisin round in the baby today. the suspension and bump dampening in the BA is just so right.

When I had my trip comp working...

About 13-15l/100km City driving, and I'm talking average speed under 20km/h here

Goes awesome on the highway though. Gets about 8L/100km.
