I am looking at doing a major change to my Lucifa in regards to Air intake. Is there a trend to have TOO much air inducted? in that would too much air coming in cause turbulence? I have the BA turbo air intake on it now but am looking at increasing the CFM of air coming in.
Just something I am pondering is all... |

Without having something actually forcing the air in there, it's not possible to give the engine more air than it can handle.

boost or no boost it's about Volumetric Efficiency. too much can be counter-productive,moreso with NA cars.although without flow tests and or dyno time it's p|ssing in the wind.
depends on what you want to change and in what way ?

Air-fuel ratio.
Really would sum it up, too much air and not enough ignition or fuel your really just blowing a spark out. Really a standard ECU unless modified can only run the car within set perimeters will only run the car rich enough to be any use to "more airflow". Your just wasting energy trying.
