hey guys im currently lookin at buying a I6 engine for my el as i am building it up into a turbo engine the engine doesnt need pistons ,conrods and variouis things as im putting in stonger parts what parts should i replace if i wnt to build it properly for a turbo setup i would be very thankful for your responses hope to hear from you guys thanks

personally i dont think its worth it hey... i just got a quote to rebuild my whole motor forged everything etc... $9500 considering the pistons and rods were 4000 alone!!!! then the supercharger kit was another 7500.. gearbox 2500 and computer 3500.... and every one i talk to said it wasnt worth it cause u dont get that much power out of the ford six cause i wonted 600hp... and i would of been lucky to get 450hp

What!?!?! Go have a chat to someone else, the Ford sixes are tough you don't need to spend that much for it to handle a bit of power.
You probably would have been hard pressed getting 600hp out of a supercharged set up too, have a look into turbo.
