I am guessing you mean 1.4mm? if so, Ford never made one. There is a 1.9mm standard and is still available but, 1.6mm and 2.4mm are no longer available.

The ONLY shims I can see are the shims that sit on the top of the Lifter. From the 01/03/93 all lifters are the same all the way up to AU.

Yes, that is their thickness. I had heard that Shims were supplied with New after market Cams? obviously I was wrong :D

Mate your best bet is going to a ford wrecker or self serve wrecker like pick a part etc and pick up a set

I've got a set of 14mm shims for $25 (which includes postage). I paid $60 for the set from Ford about 18 months ago.

A mate of mine that recently installed a cam and had to change the shims was missing some. After some research he found that the local nut and bolt shop sold he exact same washers that he was after. I think he paid $5 for about 500 of them. He now races the engine and no problems at all. So a thought for all.
