im getting a full exhust system on my xr6 ba, and i was originally looking at pacemaker 4490's,
im after extractors that have more of a bottom end similar to 4490's. i was told by Liverpool exhaust that pacemakers are "s**t" and have problems with cracking and he recommended a brand called hurricane, which turns out to be made by them, so im not sure if hes telling the truth or if hes just trying to make a little extra cash.
has anyone ever had a problem with pacemakers?? and does anyone know how hurricane compare to pacemakers, price doesn't worry me to much but if their similar ill go for the hurricane due to them being cheaper.

hey mate i got a full hurricane system headers high flow cat and 2 straight through mufflers on my BF sedan. I got mine through Dapto mufflers so he must have ordered them from Liverpool exhaust (they must be alright for other dealers to use them as well). I got it all for just under a grand supplied and fitted. I didnt really do heaps of research at the time as i found them quite cheap on ebay compared to everywhere else but in the end all all turned out great. I love my exhaust sounds awesome and the power increase is very noticeable Darren did a great job. He even makes up custom exhausts as well but mine fit up nicely plus he made this adapter for the second O2 sensor stop my engine light coming on.

Anyways here is his website - http://www.daptomufflers.websyte.com.au/

with pacemakers around 1200 to 1400 is about on the money. i know stuff is cheapper in the eastern states but over here your lookin at about 750 for the pacemakers 400 for a magnaflow spun body cat alone plus a system so 1200 is a pretty good deal mate. just make sure when your doing your comparisons you are comparing apples with apples. not good gettin different quotes if the systems and cats are different
