Probably because they're a bit more expensive than a regular mixer setup.

Mixers are dirt cheap, simple to set up, and very reliable.

Either they're ripping you off on labour of parts. But the underbonnet kits from GRA are only 1200 (I just bought one direct from them). So add lines and tank and will still be way below 2 grand in parts, no way should it cost $1500 in labour!!!

Would you be able to tell me what was included in the under bonnet from gra?. My car is already on gas so if i fitted the kit and left the gas lines to a qualified gas fitter it would work out heaps cheaper.

Thanks

There wouldn't be any space left afterwards if you could put it anywhere!

I suppose you could get a 65L AND a wheel well donut tank and plumb them together. Don't know if thats legally possible though.

I have been fitting, tuning & modifying lpg engines for over 10 years, IMO for a Ford I6 STD engine, positve feed gets best power & economy! & the (factory Vialle) or Airod set up is the way to go with an Airod variable mixter, slighty dearer than the other set ups (as a new kit) but less hassles in the long run.
Definalty liquid LPG is the way to go but at what cost ?? & vapour, the only vapour set up that I know off that really works cann't get Australian funnding........... yet!

Cheers
Joe

I just had the parnell vapour injection fitted to my au vct fairlane and it is ex cell lent!
No back fire ,you dont even feel it swap from one fuel to the other and it feels more responsive and powerful than being on petrol.
