AUIII XR8 snorkel from the 220kw motor.
from memory.

Wait for it ... someone might actually quote the actual part number as well .. hee hee

about $35 new from Ford spare parts.

I have one on my LPG ute along with a Redline panel filter in the airbox ... made a difference in throttle response ... what make a bigger difference is replacing the pipe between the airbox and throttle body.

Tested it at the last dyno day ... there was a 5rwkw increase when changed.

AUIII XR8 snorkel and scoop should do the trick. Definitely change the snorkel to the box as well. From memory with a k&n filter also you should gain around 12 rwkw, but i could be wrong. Can anybody tell me, cause I am running this on my BA and i would like to know what it has given me. I can feel the difference

hey guys, i have just put the au t-series snorkel on my ef and chucked a k&n panel on it. deffinatly can feel the better response!!! and the k&n wont give you much increase if any at all! the reason i got one is the fact that it is reusable and i wont have to buy a new filter!

value for money I'd buy the Tickford one.
But if you want the best get the SS Induction one, but the price different is ridiculous!

get an au tickford sorkel for an AU and a EL gt snorkel for a EF&EL falcon, it's that easy. bonnet rubbers match the shape. there are about 300 disillusioned EF&EL owners running a AU T snorkel that have have the air passage bloked by the bonnet rubber. Although they won't admit it, they know i am right..........

Yeah I dont have that problem on my EL because I checked whether or not the Snorkel was getting blocked by the Rubber seal on the bonnet when I installed it. If you used the same holes it would of but I managed to drill some new holes and brought it more forward

will it be overkill on the air intake if i go and install a 2nd snorkel? i get my 1st one on monday so i will be doing that hopefully monday night otherwise some other time during the week and then if it is a good idea i will get another snorkel and install it lower down.

Picked up my snorkel today from Kloster Ford and the guy at the spare parts said that i will have to cut a bigger opening at the air box to let more air in for it to work! did anyone else do this and do you have to do it for it to work or is he just full of s**t.

Mick Webbs SVO sell them off Ebay. Got mine for $26 & $5 postage. I found the K & N & snorkle make a little difference probably only a few rwkws though. Nothing like some of the wild claims you hear!
