I was just wondering which is bigger or are they the same size:

AU TE50

I know i can go to Adrian Brian ford on South Road and get the TE50 for $40.

They would prob be the same size, BA XR Turbo are exactly the same as the Tickford ones but don't have the wings.

yeh they should be the same size AU3/EL GT up to BA im sure and even it was slightly smaller/or larger without serious mods there more than enough....and yeh should only cost you $30-$40 - I know darren at FTG sell the tickford AU3XR8 ones for $35

If you want it for looks get the AU V8 for the Tickford wings, but you will get more get up and go (it takes about 3 weeks before you ECU learns that it is on )

You'll barely notice a gain if at all.

I fitted the huge Aunger kit to my 5.0 and didn't notice anything.

As for taking 3 weeks to learn, where did you get that from?

Go for which ever one looks better, i'v got the AU XR8 one.
Personly they dont make any differance because the hole at the air box where the snorkle joins into is still the same size as the factory one.

I have been talking to a guy in the street that had an EL for a cab. He said most of the guys were putting sports exhaust (lukey 2.5 cat back), and having a bigger snkorle so that they breath a bit better. He said people would get better fuel economy from it. Some guys even put a cam in.
im going down to fraud to get one soon.
