Hey all!
Im p****d! About a year ago I snapped the lower caliper bolt with a little spanner. Today I snapped a lower Thermostat housing bolt! Last time i resorted to replacing the park, the bolt was stuck in that was easy but still a pain. Im not exatcly going to do that with the head! So what size drill bit and EZY out should I get??? Or should I do something else??? Part of the bolt in the head is pretty light inside its stupid hole as well! Thanks! |

all depends on the size of the bolt...
with extractor start with somethin small then u can always work up the sizes..

get a center punch, make a dent in the left over bolt then hit it anti-clockwise to undo it?

In Adelaide we have a bloke called captain thread. He is a mobile umm... thread man lol. Had a water pump bolt snap in my XF block, he came to my house, drilled the bolt out and put a hellicoil (dunno how it is spelt) in. Just had to remove the radiator brfore he came.
