i have a 88 XF falcon that i am currently modifying and i was wondering if anybody knew of some wheels that i could put on it, i want something nice and wide (cause it can take it) but i dont know what to get or where, could someone please head my in the write direction? please? thnx.

15X10's are way to wide. I'd go for 15X8's on the front and maybe 8's or 8.5's on the back. 8.5's have the deeper dish but as a result the offset might be all wrong and the wheels would hang out of the gurards.

And what's wrong with big diameter rims on an XF. Simmonds FR19's would b a perfect match. Or just look at the 20's on MR0250.

8" at front is too wide he will aquaplane everywhere 7.5" is better.


well maybe not aqua plane everywhere but its not really needed. waste money on rubber

yeah its a very nice XF :D

and i have 16x8's on my EF....

i think clearing the suspension and guards would be a bigger drama than aquaplaining in the wet..... you cant fit rubber wide enough under the front of an XD-XF that will cause problems in the wet that cant be avoided by driving sensibly

ive got 7" wide on the front and they fit beautifully but the back needs something wide like 8" or 10" if i could find some, could you please give me some sites to look at or pics if any onehas some, i was thinking bout some oldskool mags rather than later 1's, thnx
