Hey guys, my mate was driving my car last night and i can't remember much, but i remember him saying why the deck suddenly switched off then on again..

today when moving my car, it turned off again for some reason..its never done this before..the other thing is when i switched my headlights on it cut out aswell, and when i flicked the headlight switch on once the whole car turned off??wtf

and when i turned the car back on and switching the lights on made it idle differently but didn't turn off again..

what could be going on?

dead alt, ecu relay gone belly up? bad earth?

where is the ecu relay?

it seems to cut the engine when i switch on the headlights..and makes the cd player turn on and off aswell..

had the same problem with my EL, turned out my battery connection was very loose

Did the car stutter and stall? or did it switch off like you had turned the ignition switch..

If it stuttered id be leaning towards alternator/poor earth etc

If it swtiched straight off its more likely something silly and more difficult..replaced any globes lately? ive seen blinker globes inserted into tail lights do strange things...
