The bell housing will not bolt up due to the different sump on the AU. The block bolts will be OK but the lower ones wont work out. Best just to get the bell housing from an AU.

Ok, so the XH gearbox will bolt to the AU bell housing.

Whats the story with the clutch? XH clutch assembly or do i need to get an AU clutch? I suppose the question is will the fly wheel and clutch assembly usable?

Cheers Matt

I was speaking from an Auto perspective about the bell housing but still applicable to the manual, someone else will need to answer the clutch specific question. I would assume that they are all the same from EB through to AU

The problem will be the bottom bolts (the brace ones on the E series) wont line up.
