Hey guys, the timing chain snapped in my EF and bent 5 valves, so rather then getting them replaced I managed to pick up a tickford head for $100. I was just wondering if I need an xr6 ecu to use this, pretty sure I don't but in another thread I saw that the xr6 models had retuned ecus.

Slap the head on and use an AU head gasket and bolts.
It'll be fine. without he XR ECU and without the 300KPA fuel reg.
