Well my standard clutch is... fuxed.
I hace a Clutch industries PBR RPM clutch kit I picked up for 100$ new.
Altho I didn't realise the 3.9 and 4.0 had different clutch sizes.
Mine is a 3.9 and the clutch is a RPM301.

Any help would be appreciated.

Only differences i know of from Ea to EL are the 3 & 6 bolt flywheel's and their related pressure plates.

I had a quick look at the clutch catalog for clutch industries, RPM301 lists as for the XF unleaded 4.1, Ea & EB 3.9 I6 as well. What flywheel do you have in your car, 3 or 6 bolt?

Cheers

If your EB is a series 1 it could be a 3 bolt, if series 2 it should be 6 bolt, but could have been changed over the years.

Its a series 1. The guy I bought the clutch off had a ea. So same right?
I don't think the clutch has ever been changed.
Not in the service book and it goes all the way to 155xxx. I've had it since 163xxxks. So my bet its original.

Eb series 1 is the same from the factory. If it is the factory original you should be right. Worst case, if you wanna use the RPM kit you have, pickup a 3 bolt flywheel, they are usually fairly cheap compared to the 6 bolt flywheel.

Cheers
