hey guys/girls just put a new clutch in my eb and now the gear box is winding! any ideas! the oil i took out was red so guessing it was atf! put the same oil back in spilt alittle bit and now she just winds!!!! cheers

did you put the correct amount back in? or is it half empty..

Winds? I can't even follow what you're saying...

As in Whines the sound? Or winds but you have no drive? :?

hahaha windy...with a chance of oily rain.

If you mean whining gearbox, then you may require more fluid. By "[I] put the same oil back in"...did you mean you recycled the oil or you bought ATF and put that in? When you filled it up, how many liters did you put in? If you reused the old oil, I suggest you remove it and put new oil in and top it up to the specified amount or you can just top it up until it comes out of the filler hole. You can also put an additive in to help with smoother gear changing.

When you changed the clutch, what was the thrust bearing like? Was it changed? Was it attached to the fork properly?

When you put your foot on the clutch and load the pedal does the noise go away?
