The problem was when someone tried to steal it they ripped out the small four wires that lead into the side of the barrel. After replacing the module i waited for 30 minute and the car started fine and has every time since. good stuff.

Yes Froudey it was great to get the car running again properly. I even fixed the central locking that was locking and unlocking using the key which was a totally different issuse. The key lock on the tail gate wouldnt turn in the direction of unlock, so after pulling it about and seeing how still the whole thing was i srap some wd40 on it it was working again, but still a bit tight. So i repeated the process and found that a sh#@ load of dirt was the problem.
just thought you might like to know that as every one seem to go and replace the actulator which i had done on another car with a similar problem. Cheers |
