hi guys just thought id do a small writeup on because i want to get a eb2 smartlock/ed fairmont sedan 4.0L because at the scrap yard theres a late eb fairmont and i want to try and get as many of the odds and ends from it as i can as those parts are going cheap.


so far ive ripped out the climate control module and trip computer and fairmont antenna/central locking switch and only paid 3 dollars for them and im going back on tuesday to try and get some more before the body gets destroyed.

it even has good looking cruise control buttons.

While im there I might get the climate control sensors preferably the heater box as well for the climate control conversion and I might get the Fairmont console and ill see what other bits can be put to use and what doesn’t get used will get used as spare parts later.

Can I ask you in the eb/ed is the smartlock module built into the bcm or is the bcm separate from the smartlock module. Ifso what colours are they ranging in the specs
