you have pulse on the injectors, AND you have fuel flowing back?? Did you consider it might just need the spark plugs removed, and just turned over like that? just to get rid of excess fuel? if its really bad. If not just do the flood clear mode I was talking about above.

Cheers

the only other thing i can think of is do you have the fuel hoses on the right places (return on pressure and vice versa)

id say the revving up would be ISC related? just disconnct it for testing purposes.

As for idling like a pig... old fuel? does it rev ok?
Is the MAP sensor connected?

Cheers

if you unplug the SPOUT connector, it automatically brings the timing to 10 degrees. So, perhaps your dizzy is way to advanced?

Cheers

have you got a timing light? If it hits the block and you need to advance it more, perhaps someone once took the dizzy out, and stuck it in one tooth ahead...?

To retard the timing you need to bring the rotor arm closer to the points... our engines rotate (if you look from the front of the car at the dizzy) clockwise. So, if your engine is too advanced you need to bring the dizzy back a bit, think of the rotor arm sitting 30 degrees after number 1, so 30 degrees to the left of number 1, no to bring number closer obviously your not gonna turn the engine and hold the dizzy, so you turn the dizzy clockwise, bringing the contact closer to the rotor arm.

You said counter clockwise, and to be honest I think I maybe mixing up the engine rotation... I know the firing order is 153624, so find number one, and then number should be either to the left or right of it, which ever one it is, is the rotation direction.

Cheers and goodluck!

The EGR dosen't have the pipe comming off it it open would that have something to do with the idel

If you really want to see he car running you can download the clip. The file is 7mb so it might take a while to download if you got dial up or small dsl plan

not sure on EGR... does it normally run off the extractors into the inlet manifold?

Just make sure you've got no vacuum leaks.

Cheers

PS - Just downloading the video now.

ok, I had a look. And that reminded me that you have an AFM.. I forgot.

Basically it sounds absolutely s**t lol. Is that with the SPOUT disconnected? May I ask how you went about disconneting aswell? did you cut it?

So with the SPOUT connected you have a really high idle, does it rev?

without it, it idles like s**t, and obviously doesn't rev... correct?

How does it idle with the SPOUT connected?

Cheers
