Dad and i thought ok so Max ellerys manual didnt have the right code they must have screwed up so we were gobsmacked (and p****d off) when the genuine ford manual also said it didnt exist. I can tell you now it exists and i got one so ford you f****d up somewhere anyway ive had my monthly whinge but hey if our cars were easy it would be boring and unrewarding!!!

Emission controls were different for NSW.

I had an XF and no one could give me any info on the electronic dissy and the electronic box that went with it.
They said that I did not know what I was talking about untill I took the car to them. They were at a complete loss as they said they had never seen one like it before. It was one of the last made, so I think it was a bit of a hybrid.

Unleaded carbie XF's had computer controlled timing. So from 2/86, all carbie models had this setup.
