i am trying to put my powersteering on my new car with out powersteering, the ps pulley on the harmonic balancer is a four bolt pattern however my harmonic balancer on my van ( good car i am fixing)is only a 3 bolt pattern, can i buy a 3 bolt pulley or do i need to replace the balancer?

If you go to a Wrecker you should be able to get another pulley to fit.
Or you could get another Reco Balancer, there not that expensive from memory, but it's been a while since I brought one. |

yea, just visit a wrecker, but take the original 3 bolt pulley as well cos there's 2-3 different 3 bolt pulleys

XD and XE 6cyl had a 3 bolt cast iron power steering pulley.
the XF had a pressed steel 4 bolt pulley. but they could have been changed B4 either one should cost you about $20 at most wreckers get the bolts aswell as they are different or if you have the balancer from the car you got the power steering from you can change it as they do interchange. |
