Hey all, I recently bought a 1994 XG falcon spac ute with a 5 speed manual sight unseen. I was told that it ran on aero start, now when it got dropped off to me I chucked a battery straight into it and turned the key... nothing, no crank at all. I then decided to try jumping the relay which worked and now it cranks but next problem is I have no spark or fuel pump. I then tried jumping the fuel pump relay with the switch inside set to gas and boom it made a clicking noise from the gas tank. It is equipped with smart lock so I tried the leave the ignition on for 45 minutes and then tryed again but still nothing, has me stumped. Would greatly appreciate any help. Another thing I should probably add is the coolant light is on constantly, even with the key off and out of the ignition it is on but slightly dimmer. Cheers

Since you've jumped the relay and got it to crank, ensure that the battery is fully charged and the connections are clean and tight. Check the ground connections as well, especially to the chassis and engine.
