My XH ute is on gas, but is really gutless.

Running on petrol is a little bit better, but If I remove the gas mixer from the inlet manifold it goes like it should (on petrol).

To me this means that the gas mixer is restricting the breathing.

Does anyone know if there is a gas mixer on the market that has a decent inlet diameter and so does not limit the breathing ??

Nah. You don't need a big wallet. Justy a piece of plastic with a magnetic strip on the back.

Preferably a piece of plastic that is gold in colour though.

yes the gas mixer restricts the intake quite a bit one of the reasons i have not converted my xr to gas.... than and the extra plumbing in the enginebay
