Gday guys, just doing a bit of research. Im thinking of doing a CAI on my EL XR6, with the intake going over the engine from the TB and making an airbox where the battery used to be. I am doing as sort of an experiment, and am going to measure the airtemp and pressure/vaccuum of standard intake against the new intake to see how they fare.
I am relocating battery to the boot, but the coolant res is still kinda in the way. I noticed the other day that the XG utes have the coolant res on the opposite side, and my question is, does the radiator have the coolant res connection on the other side too? if it does, i could get an XG radiator, and put the coolant res where it is on the XG, or where the airbox used to be. also, would an XG radiator bolt strait in, seeing as it more resembles a EA-ED layout than and EF-EL layout.
