NO, NOT ANOTHER AIR INTAKE POST, just wondering if anybody out there who has fitted an XH snorkel to an EA-D and noticed that the bonnet does not shut quite perfectly. I mean, I'm a bit fussy, but you can tell just about 1-2mm raised on the left side. I thought it probably was already there, and tried to adjust rubber bonnet stops, but still the same.

If it's the case that the snorkel is too big, is there a way of making it fit?

P.S. Looks like ED was meant to have that snorkel. If you look under bonnet, the rubber edge goes around the snorkel to an almost exact fit!

My XH snorkle fits perfectly with no modifications. But i also fitted it on a warmer sunny day and the lubed up the bonnet catch and close it and left the car in the sun for the afternoon and it moulded its new sitting shape.

KRUPTD, good idea. Might just wait and see for some warmer weather, and when cruising and thermos come on, extra heat under bonnet and the actual bonnet pushing down might just make it settle more.

Looks way better under the bonnet too :D :D :D

It sure does looks good under the bonnet, nice a sleek and flows more air too.See how you go getting it to fit well for yah..Or even go for a drive and get your car warm or operating temperature and fit it and then go for drive to keep it warm and then come home park it in the sun and hopefully it will be fitted snug for ya.
