Hey guys,

I know theres heaps of threads on cams and ive read most of them but i just need some final opinions and advice. Ive got a el xr6 manual with extractors standard cats and genie exhaust, intake. Ive put her on the the dyno and gotten 120rwkw. My next step is a cam. Know i dont want to have to change valve springs and i still want to run standard ecu. What cam do poeple think and i recommend i get? if i get a cam ill also get the vernier gear aswell. Any thoughts, advice or opinions would be great

I had good result with the 1636 Wade cam. Pulled 138kw at the wheels.

Whilst stock springs should be ok for the bigger 1673 wade cam, dont forget your stock springs are over 10 years old. But thats just my opinion

dude get a stage 2 from CMS, they run on standard springs and other top end, run nicely with extractors and intake work as well. lookup Crescents sponsor section, around $365,
