Why is high compression bad for turbo applications?

its not an issue if tuned right..
if my std au engine with 9.6:1 can take 12-18psi for 4 years without failure a b series will be fine providing its tuned well.... i have seen fg egas 10.7:1 engines running e85 with 20+psi of boost.. |

But the tunes gotta be good, too much cylinder pressure from a high comp boosted engine can bend rods or do headgasgets.also creats more heat trying to compress so much in such a small area

This is most likely very wrong, but running higher compression would mean getting the same out of lower boost? Or am I way off the mark...
