no

au had 2 xr6 versions

XR6HP or HO
4.0L Intech 6 cyl (XR6)
Bore and stroke: 93 x 99 mm
Power: 164kW at 5000rpm
Torque: 366Nm at 3150rpm
Overhead camshaft, 2 valves per cylinder
Fuel system: EEC V fuel injection
Compression ratio: 9.6:1

and AUXR6 VCT 172kw
Bore and stroke: 93 x 99 mm
Power: 172kW at 5000rpm
Torque: 374Nm at 3500rpm
Overhead camshaft, 2 valves per cylinder
Fuel system: EEC V fuel injection
Compression ratio: 9.6:1

teh xr6hp/ho is faster as there it is lighter vct and all xr8 had the irs which added about 200kg to the car albiet they handled a s**t better but slow :)

would love to put the VCT head on mine and see how that goes :)

ah sorry frank. I assumed that non-VCT was just called XR6, and VCT was called XR6*blah blah blah*.
Hmmmmm... So which rocker cover do I want. My EF XR6 one is so plane and boring (just plane red).

i like the eb/ed ones, but the ignition leads run in the wrong spot.
AU non-VCT isn't bad, but no Tickford logo lol. Might have to go an EL one.

If you put an eb/ed rocker cover on, just get eb/ed leads. Theyll fit fine! Ef/EL leads will fit, but theyre a bit long, so you can just leave the slack under the inlet manifold or soemthing.
