this is to all you guys with the xr8 spec intake snorkel. I just recently fitted one, and there doesnt seem to much difference with it installed, is it just me or is it the filter ( im running a s**t ryco filter ) holding it back?

i did the same thing and i did notice it was a little smoother, then today i bought a k&n panel filter and it does make a bit of a difference, not heaps, but makes everything a lot smoother with a little more power, to get more out of it you need an exhuast so the motor can also get rid of the air better, as you a pumping more in, u still need to get more out

you shouldnt notice it much at all get a k&n u will notice a bit get the exhaust done then u will notice abit of difference

You wont notice much other then a few more bugs in your air filter . I call mine the bug catcher now...
