I have done my research, and was interested in a Wade 1604 cam, but now i'm looking at doing a few more mods, and wondered what cams people would recommend. I'm looking at a full exhaust system with decent extractors, mandral intake, high flow filter, new cam and topped all off with a uni chip and custom tuning.

Could / Should I go for a bigger cam than the 1604? I'd like a stage 3 type cam if I can. What do people have and can recommend?

Also remember that Wade do more than just their mild stage 2 1064/1004. Give them a call and talk about their more agressive 'off the shelf' cams, or discuss a custom grind.

Here's a Dyno graph of one versus the 1004.

I'd say that big dip is due to the BBM switching, not sure who's car that was either :?:

I got a stage 3 crow cam and its pretty lumpy. However, if you like idling then get a chip pretty much straight away. Unless you rev it out everywhere your fuel consumption won't be too bad either.
