hey all just thought i'd get the ok and or opinions :) anyways a couple of months ago i lost my license from this. hit a couple of star pickets on my way home, was way to tired driving to fast :( now i also have an ea that is pretty strait, that i was hoping to paint at some point of time but my housemate has had his car in the shed for the last couple months and is nearly complete

i would love to completely respray the car and then put as much of the ef into the ea (dash, motor, interior)?

would have painted the ea black but the housemate beat me to it, so what do you think a silver would look? now the ea motor and box is out and nearly gutted

now im sorry about the presentation but this is my 1st new topic post :D and i have the license back now, so i need to do something

thanks all

wow, that EF has taken a beating hasn't it..

As for the changeover.. you could do the dash motor, all wiring, drivetrain.. (think the diff has different mounts) but pretty much all of the rest would change over.

If your prepared to do alittle fab work.. you could basically turn the EA in to a EF in a EA shell.. I'm planning on trying to graft an EL front bar onto my EA...

He obviously didn't heed the warning in your sig...

Yes virtually everything will transfer over to the EA, I'd get some C pillar trims off of an EB/ED if I were you tho, and take advantage of the fact the EA didn't come with an airbag so you can run an aftermarket wheel, however the work isn't for the light hearted.

Rubbers, Doorhandle, Drivetrain, Dash, Rear seat, all plastics, will all bolt in... if you use the EL harness it will be even easier, the front seats will need modification to fit and if you want the floor mounted handbrake you will have to use the search function to see what people who have done it before did.

Please. Don't kid yourself about it, decide now if you will see it out to the end.
