TS-SW841D RRP: $229.00
20cm (8") Slimline Subwoofer http://www.pioneer.com.au/products/car_ ... index.html This may fit between the gas tank and your parcel shelf. Slim and compact are not typical words associated with a subwoofer, but they perfectly describe the TS-SW841D. Only 7.5 cm deep, it revolutionises the very concepts of installation and application. It's a great choice for rear parcel shelves and other tight locations, or installations into a very compact box.

i say don't use the 10"
they don't look too good at all. you're better off leaving the 6x9's. and working on a sound system.

Yeah good 6x9s with a good quality amp sound great with great mid and decent bass.
Lightening Audio produce a great 6x9, well they did 2 years ago and say a two channel eclipse amp with 2x60wrms @4ohms will out handle the rest of the system. Eclipse are great, as good as Rockford, cheap as chips secondhand too Matt

Do all you need is a rca converter and a decent amp and leave the original enclosure as is

How come it sounds so bad.
What do the 300C's and RX8's run in the rear shelf. I know 2 who have those cars and the bass is excellent. I was even thinking of getting rid of my sub box in the boot and going for a shelf sub myself? |
