If you're going to buy Pioneer, DO NOT buy the {DESCRIPTION}. They are crap and look just as bad. {DESCRIPTION} actually are decent and suit your colour scheme.

One valuable tip I'll give you... Save and buy good gear to start with, even if you have to buy one part at a time. In the end you'll save more money than buying crap stuff and continually upgrading :)

Ok everyone, seeing your all geniouses on the 2 diffrent sized subs things, how many of you have tried it?
None of you?
Go try it.
Ive had 2 12s in the lude. but 2 12s arnt enough in a big car i dont think, so i bought that 15in polk. ( i dunno why that guy laughed, its a good sub in a small sealed box.)
And i had a 12in cvr left over so i hooked it up, when i get money ima buy another 15in polk and get rid of the 12, i dont even really want it now, its there so i use it.
I mostly listen to psy and those nigga beats with heavy bass.
Admitidly it sounds a bit off on some frequencies, but has alot more range then if i was running 2 12s.
So guys get over it, i dont tell you how to run your systems, i was simply telling you of my system, and its damn loud.

Also, ill stick to nothing wrong with OA amps, give it a go, dont just listen to what your mates with heaps of cash tell you whats good or not.

Id rather pay for a product then a name............

If it sounds good to you, that's all that matters... But people who like their bass to sound good shouldn't do it :)

look im not going to bite at what this 17 year old said but when you put your opinion on a public forum some people may not agree with you.

For the record i tried to perfect a system with 1x10", 1x12" and 1x18" sub...... it sounded crap.

leave it at that and dont trash people that have a few more years of audio experience than yourself.

Ok so with your "show car" do you want the system to even sound good, or all just for looks?

I only made the comment on their gear as I have used pretty much all of it bar the splits. Apart from the one screen which I am selling as have no need for it anymore, the only thing still living/that I haven't sold because I didn't like it was the sub below.

I am still amazed at how it has managed to outlast 2 of their amps when I have been running heaps more power through it than what it's rated at.

On the other hand for budget gear that I have found to work well Jaycar looks like s**t (if your an aesthetic person) and I have read some bad things but I used their 2x150wrms and the 4x50wrms amps for a while and they both performed really well. Wasn't happy with the lack of detail on their crossovers though; might as well wear a blindfold when selecting frequencies.

You're buying a nice car and going to put cheap gear in it... That makes no sense. Anyone that knows anything about car audio will see your system with four cheap subs and not be impressed at all.

I'm not bagging you out but it's the truth... When I see nice cars at events with crappy gear installed, I just think it's a waste. They don't know what they're missing.

I just got a new sub... Here's a pic next to a Pioneer 12" sub. Now would you be more impressed with 4 of the Pioneer's or 1 of the RE Audios?
