New AU means new speakers :D

One of the factory speakers sounds like it's done a coil (unless it just sounds that s**t) thus I want to replace them.

As was not the case with the EF, I don't have much to spend... about $200 max for all four.

I can get some Cadence 5x7" speakers fairly cheap, about $120 for all four.

Off-the-shelf spacers are cheap enough to get 6.5" speakers into the factory holes... But is it really worth bothering for my purposes?

The Cadence 5x7" units would be a bit of a step up from the factory crap surely...? Anyone using them?

get a think nylon chopping board and make spacers out of that, much better range of speakers in the 6-6.5 inch speaker range and for a much better price.....
