Hey all
When i bought my XR, it had an aftermarket dvd player in it. Although when the people at the shop installed it for the previous owner, they disconnected the cigarette lighter (annoying in case of needing phone charger etc) and now i can't use the steering wheel controls. Is there a way to reconnect both? With still having the dvd player?
It is a Clarion VZ509A

lighter should just need to positive and negative wires hooked up to the back of it, wires should still be there so will only take a few minutes.

as for the steering wheel controls, you will need to buy a steering wheel interface kit, i know JB hi-fi sell them for $299 and most car audio shops should be able to get one in for you as well.
