Howdy

halfway through my install.
was having a bit of trouble actually finding where the wires run for the door sensors.. its an ea fairmont...

i know where the door sensors are.. but i have no idea where the wiring all meets. so that i can get a signal from every door.

any help where other people tapped the door sensor wiring would be much appreciated.

EDIT!!!

where have people hooked up to make the indicators blink?? my alarm has a 10A output to light them up so im assuming im aiming for a direct output not a relay trigger.

i thought i had the right wire, but it blew a fuse and jumped and hit my head on the steering wheel.. f**k its frustrating

Shouldn't matter - you can splice into any of the courtesy door light lines, as they're all wired in parallel.
If EA are like later E series, the lines should be black/blue.

Plenty of areas to choose from: steering column, lines off the back of the flasher can, the main wiring loom running along the RHS of the car, etc.

Check the wire colours on the back of your indicators, either, front, side or rear - the earth is usually black or black with a colour, so the other line will be the power line.
