I think I'm starting to grow out of my SPS-171's. I'm starting to find them a bit harsh in the mid vocal range, and bright in the top end especially when turned up. I noticed when their cranked up a bit the S's in the vocals become quite a bit more pronounced. It leads to ear fatigue and I just have to turn it down after a short while.

What are a couple of brands that have warmer and sweeter highs, with midrange attack for snares and toms, with some nice low frequency response.
