So a mate gave me a 12" Alpine type R sub and a Alpine PDX-M12 amp for helpIng him out. These are both only months old, I put the sub into my MTX sledgehammer front slot port box.
The last decent big sub amp combo I had was a kicker CVR 12" running off a OA 800wrms mono, same box, pulled 136.7 and yea made some noise and made the rear view move up and down a bit.
This new set up, on a 45 to 65 hrtz sweep made my ears hurt and broke the mirror so now it flops around like a C**k in a shirt sleeve.

Dunno what the point of this thread really is, but I strongly reccomemded this audio gear, 1200wrms mono, yes please.

And one more quick one. Why's everyone's recommendation for sound deadening. Brand wise. I wanna do my boot and cabin
