G'day guys I'm running a pair of soundstream xtc6 splits in the front and LS652's in the parcel shelf so I should be running them of an amp as i understand. and supposedly I'm meant to run an amp with matching if not higher rms rating, but autobarn jb etc. all keep trying to sell me amps with more like 40-60rms per channel.
I'm running them off a jvc exad kd lhx555 head unit, and I have 2 10' SPL subs in the boot, supposedly soundstream again but haven't confirmed that, off a knwood 1000watt 2 channel amp, 250 rms per channel.

the fronts are rated at 110rms and rears at 120rms, I'm not finding much in the way of 4 channel amp that handle that, and none that are small, anyway I guess I'll have to workout fitting somehow or another but in the meantime i can anybody amke some suggestion in where to look etc. to
find some that will actually run them.
I got offered a lil wonder 4.500 which is 4 x 65rms at 4 ohm, 125 at 2 ohm for about 220
or
Soundstream TRX4.640 which is 4x100rms at 4ohm for about 400
both new
the other thing i'm wondering should I just ge a couple 2 channel amps, as they seem to be more readily available.
but I'm not sure, anyway suggest away, as it's seems the shops are just after a quickbuck with what ever has the best chance of actually selling that day.

thanks in advance.

Thanks for the offers, but neither are what i was hoping for, anyway after a bit of thinkig, I've decided I'm just gonna go for 2 (2 ch) amps that'll just cover it, as I'm not finding much in the 120x4 rms at 4 ohm.

So I bought a cheap dub amp for 30 yesterday, so that can run one set, then just to find another of similar size, I also reasessed my room issues, it's more of a drama than I though, one of the smallest amps around sqeezes in if I move some wiring, hehe.

I'm mounting it on the parcel shelf between the speaker and boot hinge, if anyone can recommend something that'll do 110rms x2 at 4 0hm and fit in that area let me know.

Mate if i was u i was get a 4x150 amp like the alpin one and mount it under the passenger seat, its a nice location as its hidden and easy to access if u need to adjust the tuning.

Hope this helps

Trent

Awesome, just had a look at there site to see what your talking abut, hadn't seen one of those around at any of the shops, nice and small, only slight hassle with under the seat is wiring but I guess shouldn't be that bad.
Oh and 1000 bucks, f**k but now I've got something to keep looking for.

by the way notice it has 1% THD, would that be noticeable over the normal 0.08%THD most good amps seem to have at 4 ohm?

Interesting 130rmsx4 at 14.4v and only 300
Although it is a bit on the big side, guess have to see how much room under my seats.
Also anybody know what the THD is on it as I can't see it mentioned there.
