i recently upgraded my sound system in my everyday car and have some left over equipment that i was thinking of installing into my xr6t.

What i was wondering is there is a way to connect an amp up to the stock
BA head unit. and if anyone has done it, if so, how to.. only other thing i had in mind is installing a after market head unit into the glovebox and working from there.

im pretty sure jaycar have a line level converter (i think that may be what its called)...you plug in speakers one end and RCA outputs are at the other

if not does your amp have speaker inputs? as some do

idont know bout you guys, but i know that my amp came with a harness for line level inputs. so it plugs into a special plug in the amp and hooks up the speaker lines.

maybe should look for an amp with this feature
