I am in the process of tidying up my boot/ interoir, I was wondering if there are any pros/cons of mounting my amps under the rear seat. Remove some of the foam padding and slot one amp under the bum of each rear seat passenger. I am after a stealth system, as i use the factory head deck etc. I mounted one under the front passenger seat and it is just too long and prevents the seat from moving now.

Yer i wouldn't want to do it man these things need good cooling. If they have heatsinks that attach to the chassis maybe. If your gonna do it ur best bet would be too run a little ducting system with a couple of computer fans. It probly wouldn't make your seats too comfortable either lo

you know in the boot where the floor rises to a flat just before the seat? make a false back for that so you sorta have another compartment between the seats and the boot and have your subs facing throgh the bored so there facing the boot.... and put your amps on the back of the same bored neer each sub so there hidden to the eye, when u need to reach them you just pull the back seats down and wallag, there they are

Thats exactly what i am trying to get rid of. It is how they are mounted now. I want them hidden, and to be able to fold the seats down and use the full cavity of my boot. So subbs gotta go and amps gotta be moved

Not half bad idea, will look into it once the central locking has been sorted( currently doing it as we speak)
