Hi guys, I just got an aftermarket lpg converter installed.
I took out my amp and sub including the cables to make room for tank. The lpg installers have run cables from the engine bay through the firewall using the hole i was using for my amp power cable. The amp power cable doesnt fit now with the other wires. Are there any other routes I can take. or something better altogether someone could sugest. BTW the hole through the firewall is near the brake booster (i guess thats wot it is). (extractor side of the engine about mid way up). Cheers guys. |

gday mate the hole u used was the clutch cable hole, the best way to do it imo is run ur amp power cable through where your bonnet release runs, there is ample room there, i have a length of 0guage there and i have no problems, hope that helps

i found a blank bit in the grommet of my main body loom that runs into the firewall, got the biggest flatblade i could find and punched it right through there saying prayers to the effect of
please dont let me hit the loom or anything else nasty behind this dash worked good.

what the monsta said...pull the rubber thing off or just make hole into the rubber boot where the boot release cable is. I just pulled the rubber thing off and pushed the 4 gauge through. fits nicely though the rubber boot won't go back on lol phong =P~
